Located just minutes from downtown Atlanta and adjacent to Buckhead, 
Brookhaven is one of Georgia's newest cities, founded in 2012. Development began in Brookhaven in the early 1900s when Atlanta residents began constructing summer cottages in the community. In 1910, 150 acres ( on the north side of Peachtree Road were purchased for development as a planned community surrounding a golf course. The golf club would become the Capital City Club and its surrounding estate homes were placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986, The lovely neighborhood of elegant homes on big lots is now officially known as "Historic Brookhaven.

Young and vibrant
Brookhaven Village is the name given to the urban town center that has emerged on Dresden Drive, just east of the Brookhaven MARTA station. Residential neighborhoods include Ashford Park, Brookhaven Fields, and Drew Valley, offering single-family homes within walking distance of the village. The village is home to commercial establishments, residences, and offices. Town Brookhaven is a large mixed-use development of apartments, restaurants, offices, theatre, and a Costco.
